Do you know more civics than an eighth-grader?

Like millions of Americans, you probably have strong feelings about how the president should lead, what Congress should do and how the courts should rule, but do you know what gives them those powers in the first place?

Civics is a subject that can bring Americans together but often tears them part. A few years ago, bipartisan legislation to create a grant program for teaching civics was swept up in an ideological food fight and has yet to clear Congress (though state efforts have been more successful).
