Amtrak’s California Zephyr, a window on America by rail

Amtrak’s California Zephyr runs a daily 2,438-mile trip to Emeryville/San Francisco from Chicago, roughly a 52-hour journey. Getty Images photographer Joe Raedle made the trip recently and captured spectacular views of the American West.
