Elysian Valley (aka Frogtown) welcomes art lovers of all ages to enjoy pop-up galleries, artists’ studios, musical performances and art installations along the Los Angeles River from 4-10 p.m. on September 22, 2018. It’s all free!
Held every other year, the Eleventh Frogtown Artwalk celebrates its river community where numerous new established businesses will be joining the Frogtown Artwalk Family as official venues by hosting pop-up art exhibits, food selections, stages and performance spaces.
The week prior to Frogtown Artwalk on September 15 at 5pm, legendary local artist Leo Limon will be onsite at Evolve Project LA to paint several of his River Catz on the back wall of businesses facing the L.A. River bike path. He will fully paint two of the iconic cat faces and then stencil in others so the public can complete them during Artwalk. (Evolve Project LA,1921 Blake Ave., 90039)
NOTE: Frogtown Artwalk on September 22 is a car-free and low-impact festival with extremely limited parking.
