At the end of last year, we hosted a picnic and facilitated a conversation with community members and river leaders on the LA River. At this meal, we heard stories about what the river means for communities today, what it could be in the future, and what it will potentially take to get there.

Conversations these days aren’t always straightforward, but we believe it’s important to create the space for all people to participate - to literally have a seat at the table to voice our hopes and dreams for the LA River.

Now, we are hosting another A Seat at the Table event, A Paddle and Picnic, and need volunteers to help us produce the event.
